In 2016 we said goodbye and thank you to our Founder, Edward Imperatore. Ed began The Imperatore Corporation in 1946 at the age of 24 with commitment, hard work and a single piece of equipment. We thank Ed for his dedication, his business, and his employees over the last seven decades. His vision and work positioned Imperatore as one of the most distinguished crane and rigging organizations in New England. Edward leaves behind a lasting impression on his family, the professional community, and the State of Rhode Island. He will be deeply missed by all.

Ed Imperatore founded Imperatore Steel Erectors in 1946, with a single 1927 Mack Truck P&H Crane. Since then, the Imperatore Corporation has grown into one of the most capable and comprehensive contractors in the Northeast. From Steel Erection, Crane Rentals, Steel Fabrication and Rigging Services, Imperatore Corporation provides a multitude of Industrial Services to our customers. Now, with over 70 years of Industry experience, Imperatore has the versatility and experience to deliver turn-key services to our customers when they need it most.

From the humble beginnings of a single crane and a one bay shop, to our current 20-acre facility, our vision has remained unchanged. Providing 100% customer satisfaction is our ambition and continues to drive our corporate values.
